ACT offers two policies that can help you meet your specific needs. The first is the ACT Go policy that can cover you for as little as 1–3 days and focuses on general liability insurance for vendors; however, if you are looking for broader and year-long coverage, the ACT Pro policy may work better for you.

ACT Go Policy

The ACT Go policy—also known as short-term event insurance—is designed to meet the insurance requirements of most venues that host art and craft fairs. Policy term options start at 1-3 days and can go as high as 90 days (with the option to renew). Policies start at $49 and include a variety of options that meet the unique needs of your business.

The maximum amount your policy may pay within a year for all claims relating to bodily injury and property damage caused by your business operations.

The maximum amount your policy may pay for each claim relating to bodily injury and property damage caused by your business operations.

$1,000,000

The maximum amount your policy may pay for all claims relating to damage to premises rented to you (including contents inside a premise) within 7 days of the start of the policy. After 7 days, this policy only covers damages caused by fires.

The maximum amount your policy may pay for medical bills and costs accrued by an injured person(s) whose injuries were caused by your business operations.

We do not currently offer coverage for cannabis events.

Note: Product Liability and Completed Operations coverages are specifically excluded in the Show Policy. If you need products coverage or are looking for a more comprehensive option, check out our ACT Pro policy option, which is also designed for those in the art and craft industry!

ACT Pro Policy

The ACT Pro policy includes even more coverage than is provided in ACT Go, foremost among them being Products & Completed Operations coverage. In addition, you can also add Professional Liability Insurance (which you will need if you teach, host training sessions, or do art demonstrations) and add Tools, Supplies, & Inventory Coverage (which can cover theft and damages). Policies last for 12 months and start at $24.25/Month.

The maximum amount your policy may pay within a year for claims that violate a person or business’s rights (excluding physical harm). Offenses include:

-Oral or written publication that slander, libel, or violate a person’s right of privacy
-The use of another’s advertising idea in your advertisement (copyright infringement)
-False arrest, detention, or imprisonment
-Wrongful Eviction or entry
-Malicious prosecution

Also known as Inland Marine Insurance, this covers tangible property that is moveable or transportable in nature (e.g. tools, supplies, or inventory), but excludes coverage for structures and items part of a structure.
