Why Artists and Crafters Need Vendor Insurance

Why Artists and Crafters Need Vendor Insurance

Vendors across the country put their trust in “A+ Rated” insurance coverage provided by Artists, Crafters, and Tradesman (ACT) Insurance. Our vendor insurance policy is tailored to meet the unique needs of each vendor. So, whether you are promoting your work at one show or multiple shows this year, we have the insurance policy for you.

Below we'll breakdown why you need vendor insurance as you interact and promote at events. We'll discuss what is included in a show and annual policy, as well as highlight the different coverages they contain. Plus, we'll explain how you can purchase a policy online in less than 10 minutes.

Why Do I Need Vendor Insurance?

Venues and promoters often require vendors to have proof of insurance in order to showcase at their event. This protects vendors against claims filed for bodily injury or property damage from a third party.

Events attract large crowds. With a steady stream of people walking in and out of booths, people often trip and injure themselves or accidentally fall and break an item being sold. Should a participant decide to file a claim for an accident involving you and your booth, vendor insurance could provide coverage for accidents and negligence.

Vendor insurance protects the business you love and provides you peace of mind as you interact with inspiring artists, clients and promoters at events this year.

What Does Vendor Insurance Cover?

ACT understands each vendor has different needs when it comes to insurance; that is why we offer two event liability options.

ACT SHOW POLICY

Vendors planning to attend and promote at a single event can purchase vendor insurance under ACT’s Show Policy.

Vendors have the ability to select a policy length from the options below. ACT’s show policy meets most venue insurance requirements, and provides short-term general liability coverage for vendors.
