Get event-ready fast with short-term and year-round insurance options for arts and craft vendors.
Event organizers are covered through our partner, Insurance Canopy.
Event insurance is designed to protect vendors, exhibitors, and booth holders while attending events. It’s designed to cover claims — like accidents, property damage, or injuries — that happen at your booth, so you’re not stuck paying out of pocket.
Event organizers typically require arts and crafts vendors to carry general liability insurance to manage risk. They often request to be added as an additional insured on your policy, as well.

Yes, ACT’s event insurance is designed for the arts and crafts vendors who attend and sell at events — not for the actual events, organizers, or venues. This means our insurance options do not cover weddings, birthday parties, or other private events with hosts requiring insurance.
If you’re a creative business vendor at an event, ACT’s policies are made for you.
If you’re an event organizer, our sister company, Insurance Canopy, offers event organizer coverage to protect what you’re planning. Learn more about event insurance for hosts.
Yes, you can add the venue or event as an additional insured on your ACT policy for free during the checkout process (or any time afterward from your user dashboard). Your instant certificate of insurance (COI) shows any additional insureds listed on your policy, so you can send it to anyone who needs to verify!
When you add third parties as additional insureds, your coverage extends to them in case they are held liable for an issue related to your business. It helps make the event safer for you and the organizers.
ACT’s shortest policy option is a three-day policy for just $49. It’s an excellent way to protect your booth from setup to teardown and during the actual event. Plus, compared to one-day policies on the market, ACT provides a longer period of protection at a truly affordable price.
A certificate of insurance, or COI, is a document that serves as proof that you have a valid policy. It outlines your coverage, additional insureds, limits, and exclusions. People often call it an ACORD form because the logo of the organization (ACORD) is on the top left of the page.
After purchasing an ACT policy, you receive instant access to your digital COI, which you can then send to event organizers who need to verify your coverage. Submitting your COI is a common industry practice, which is why ACT makes it fast and easy to get one!
ACT insurance does not cover event planners. We also do not insure entire events or venues. We do, however, partner with events, event organizers, and venues that want to easily offer liability insurance to their vendors.
At ACT, we do our best to protect a wide range of creative business vendors at events, but there are some exclusions to be aware of. ACT does not cover:
