FAQs About Canceling Your Policy

What’s the Easiest Way to Cancel My Policy?

The easiest way to cancel your ACT policy is by logging in to your user dashboard and navigating to “Cancel My Policy” on the “My Policies” page.

Can I Get My Policy Back After Canceling It?

Once you cancel your policy, you won’t be able to reinstate it. However, if you need coverage again, simply log back in to your user dashboard to secure a new policy — it just takes a few minutes to protect your business and confidently share your creations at events and beyond.

Why Did I Only Get a Partial Refund After Canceling My Policy?

When you cancel an ACT insurance policy, premiums are refunded on a pro-rated basis, meaning you’ll only be charged for the time your policy was active. Any unused premium may be refunded to you. This refund does not include taxes or fees.

If your policy included a membership, like the Handcrafted Soap & Cosmetics Guild (HSCG) or Indie Business Network (IBN) memberships on the ACT Handmade Beauty policy, the membership fee is non-refundable and accounts for almost half of your premium.
