The 47th Annual Loris Bog-Off Festival is set for October 17, 2026, in downtown Loris, South Carolina. What started in 1980 as a chicken bog cooking contest has grown into a beloved festival drawing visitors from across the Carolinas. Attendees can enjoy a full day of live entertainment, over 200 vendors, a dedicated children’s area, and, of course, plenty of delicious chicken bog—a classic Southern dish made with chicken, rice, sausage, and spices.
