Pleasant Grove, UT — ACT Insurance is proud to announce that, effective August 19, 2025, all ACT Go policies will now include the option to add Theft & Damage Coverage (Inland Marine). This enhancement is made possible through ACT’s new partnership with Accelerant, a leading insurance carrier that launched the Accelerant Risk Exchange in 2023.
This new addition makes ACT one of the few (if not the only) insurance providers to offer inland marine coverage on short-term policies.
ACT’s Theft & Damage Coverage on ACT Go is priced at $54 — a flat rate, regardless of policy length — and includes coverage limits of $2,000 per occurrence and $2,000 aggregate. It’s designed to protect creative vendors’ business personal property, such as booth displays, equipment, and inventory, while on the road or at events.
“We’re always listening to our policyholders and evolving our coverage to meet the real-world needs of artists, crafters, and tradespeople,” said Ben Bluhm, Product Marketing Manager at ACT Insurance. “This is a much-needed response to the risks vendors face when transporting and displaying their unique, handmade work, and we’re excited to help our policyholders protect items essential to their businesses.”
While most covered items are eligible for the full $2,000 coverage limit, theft claims of jewelry, furs, and fine art are subject to a $500 sublimit.
Since launching ACT Go, our company has sold nearly 41,000 short-term policies in the last year alone, and over 226,000 total policies since inception, highlighting the demand for easy, accessible vendor coverage in the creative community.
